We've done only a few experiments in cooking this winter, and instead used a lot of staples.

Green onions and red onions diced up
Mixing into a bowl with tuna and mayo
Sandwich result, given my approval with a few bites!

Juicing some of Grandma T's oranges for smoothies
Smoothie itself

Zucchini and gnocchi and artichoke pesto

Quesadillas

Grilled cheese and salami and prosciutto
Melted result!
Toasty bread too

Noodles and stir-fry

Melting marshmallows into almond butter
Mixing it into rice crispies
Almond butter rice crispy treat!

Orzo soup

John's first attempt at a pizza
The resulting pizza remains

John rolling the dough for his next attempt at pizza
Veggies underneath the cheese, which is subpar we realised
Parchment paper is also subpar in the oven...

Oil, flour, and in the background some pan-fried zucchini
Dough rolled out and ready
Cheese-stuffed crust rolled up
Zucchini added as a base layer
Sauce added to the tub of the pizza
Pancetta, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cheese
Fresh out of the oven

Pan-searing tritip steak
One side seared...
Both sides seared, placed in the slow cooker
Slow-cooked to consistent deliciousness
Veggies we cooked in the slow cooker with the meat
Delicious steak, potatoes, and carrots!
