Preheat oven to 425 F.
Prepare the ingredients:
- 2 and 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon pink salt
- 1 cup milk (buttermilk preferred)
- 2 teaspoons agave nectar
- 1 cup or more of shredded cheddar cheese

After mixing in milk, shred cheese into dough and work in.

Next fold the dough over repeatedly to develop layers, then flatten it out into a roughly rectangular shape. For maximum flakiness, be sure to repeat several times until there are several distinct layers of dough.
Cut the dough into eight roughly equal portions (I prefer rectangular instead of round) and place them into the oven abutting each other.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, keeping an eye for when the tops turn brown and the bottom starts to char.

For ideal serving, mix a garlic butter and drizzle over the top.
